Kelly Osbourne Leaves 'Freak Friday'

Kelly Osbourne ("The Osbournes") won't be making her feature film debut in "Freaky Friday" after all, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The part-time singer and daughter of famed rocker Ozzy Osbourne was set to star opposite Annette Bening and Lindsay Lohan in the Walt Disney Co.'s "Friday," playing Lohan's musically inclined best friend in the remake of the 1976 comedy.

But Osbourne has dropped out of the project because of personal reasons, sources said. Her mother, Sharon Osbourne, has been treated for colon cancer during the summer.

She will be replaced in the part -- a role that includes singing -- by Christina Vidal. Vidal, who had been cast in a smaller supporting role in "Friday," will now play the best friend and lead singer of the girls' band.
