Bill Murray To Voice 'Garfield The Cat'
[Wednesday, May 28th, 2003]Bill Murray is to provide the voice for the role of Garfield the Cat in Twentieth Century Fox's live-action/CGI adaptation Garfield, according to Variety.
It features a sardonic cat who must tolerate the indignity of being saddled with a nebbish owner (Breckin Meyer) and a nitwit dog as housemates.
Helmer Peter Hewitt ('Thunderpants') is to direct the project, which was penned by 'Toy Story' scribes Joel Cohen and Alec Sokolow.
