Ben Affleck Now Off The 'Glory Road'
[Wednesday, July 14th, 2004]Ben Affleck has dropped out of Disney's Glory Road, which was set to start shooting in less than a month.
According to Reuters sources, his departure had to do with his deal, not the $5 million payday, but the profit-sharing arrangement.
'Glory Road' follows the true story of college basketball coach Don Haskins, whose all-black Texas Western team won the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship in 1966. James Gartner will direct and Jerry Bruckheimer will produce.
