Broderick, Murphy, Reiner Join Good Boy

MGM and Jim Henson Pictures have collared Matthew Broderick, Brittany Murphy and Carl Reiner to voice roles in the John Hoffman-directed comedy "Good Boy," reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The trio will voice roles of various CGI-enhanced canines with Molly Shannon, Kevin Nealon and Liam Aiken starring in the live-action roles.

"Good Boy" is based on original material by Zeke Richardson from a script by Hoffman, and centers on the adventures of an alien dog who comes to Earth and becomes the pet and later, the good friend, of a young boy (Aiken).
