Jason Behr Joins 'Grudge' Remake With Gellar
[Thursday, January 8th, 2004]Jason Behr ("Roswell") will star opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") in a remake of Takashi Shimizu's Japanese-lingo horror pic The Grudge, according to Variety.
Takashi will direct the remake whose screenplay is adapted by Stephen Susco, combining elements from the original and its three sequels.
Original "Grudge" concerned a murderous curse stemming from a grudge held by someone who died enraged. Behr plays a college student at an international university in Tokyo, the boyfriend of Gellar's character.
Grudge is set to lense this month in Tokyo.
