John Hurt on Potter Cameo

The tightest security surrounding the Harry Potter movie wasn't enough to stop actor John Hurt blabbing about his cameo in the film to the press this weekend.

'I do have a part in the film,' Hurt told The Telegraph. 'I play Morgana. We are sworn to secrecy so it's very difficult to talk about it, but I have a small part, a cameo you could say.'

Hurt's statement was met with bemusement here at Empire Online as we wracked our brains trying to think of a character named Morgana. But a quick flick through the book revealed that Hurt will turn up as an animated character featured on a Chocolate Frog card.

A spokesperson for the film couldn't comment on whether Hurt was in the movie, but given that the actor's been seen on set in Gloucester over the past week - it's not a huge leap to assume the news is true.
