Witch is not Hurt

There have been rumors that John Hurt is to play a witch in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone", mainly originating from The Daily Telegraph, but he confirmed that he is not going to yesterday at the Empire Awards, heres a quote from the man :

'I'd have to be a wizard, not a witch,' admitted Hurt, but when we pressed him to name his character he said he 'couldn't possibly do that. Actually your magazine said that Derek Jacobi was playing the role...erroneously!' So it's Mr Ollivander, the wand seller in Diagon Alley, then? Hurt beamed broadly, but said only; 'I didn't tell you that.'
