Queen Meets JK Rowling

The Queen met Harry Potter author JK Rowling as part of a day spent visiting different aspects of the British book publishing industry, reports the BBC News.

The event is another Royal theme days, in which the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh undertake a series of engagements all connected with the same subject.

The Queen and the Duke met JK Rowling at the company that publishes the Harry Potter book.
"I was a voracious reader when I was a child.
"It stood me in good stead because I read quite quickly now and I have to read a lot." said the Queen at the event.
