Columbus Would Direct All Potter Movies

Empire talked to Chris Columbus where he dismissed alot of casting info on 'Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets,' firstly he said that Hugh Grant has not been in talks with the producers and neither has Alan Cummings, for the role of Gilderoy Lockhart, a new Defence Of The Dark Arts teacher.

He talked about how the Potter series are going to get "a little darker; as the kids mature year to year and each book seems to get a little darker, the films will too."

He also talks about how he would like to continue directing the series, which JK Rowling is writing. "It would basically mean doing nothing else for the next seven years of my life and I'm prepared to do that. I'd love to see the original cast in film seven. I don't even know if it's possible, but that's my fantasy"
