'Harry Potter 3' Lupin & Innkeeper Confirmations

David ThewlisCBBC Newsround reports that British actor David Thewlis has been cast to play the kindly teacher Professor Lupin in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. The character is said to have some sort of a mysterious secret.

Thewlis has previously appeared in the mini-series drama Dinotopia and the fantasy film Dragonheart.

Jim TavareAlso confirmed for 'Potter 3' is the role of Tom, the innkeeper at the Leaky Cauldron. The character will be played by bald comedian Jim Tavare.

Newsrounds sources on the film told them that no one had signed on the dotted line to play Sirius, as of Wednesday afternoon.

Filming is reportedly to start in the next couple of months, with the movie hitting theaters sometime in June 2004.
