'Harry Potter The Order Of The Phoenix' Gets Writer
[Wednesday, November 17th, 2004]Michael Goldenberg (Peter Pan) is to adapt the fifth installment of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Steve Kloves, who wrote the screenplays for the first four Harry Potter films, has opted to step away from the series to adapt and direct another Warner Bros. project, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, based on the best-selling novel by Mark Haddon.
Shooting is expected to begin late 2005 or early 2006 for release in summer 2007.
