Ron Pearl Reveals 'Hellboy 2' In Production

HellboyHellboy star Ron Perlman says that work on the proposed sequel, Hellboy 2 could have started on May 1st, as it was a "great day in the genesis of turning of Hellboy 2 into a reality," he told Sci-Fi Wire.

"What that means?", Perlman added. "I know they're incredibly close. I know that there's one studio in particular that I probably shouldn't name [that] is pounding away at looking at the budget and has expressed a huge enthusiasm for [Guillermo] del Toro's script and the desire to do the project."

"Now they're just pushing numbers around," he said. "And I wouldn't be surprised if it's announced very soon."
