Adam Goldberg Joins Hudson And McConaughy
[Thursday, June 13th, 2002]Adam Goldberg has landed a starring role opposite Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey in Paramount Pictures' romantic comedy "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," reports Variety.
Goldberg will play the best friend of a ladies' man (McConaughey) who he bets can't stay in a relationship for more than 10 days. The girl he picks (Hudson) then tries to get rid of him using many of the "rules" from a wrong-headed guide to romance.
Loosely based on Michele Alexander and Jeannie Long's humor book of the same name, the film will be directed by Donald Petrie ("Miss Congeniality") from a screenplay by Kristen Buckley and Brian Regan and a rewrite by Burr Steers.
Production is scheduled to begin June 17 in New York City and Toronto.
