Ang Lee Talks Hulk
[Wednesday, April 4th, 2001]
"I don't have a story yet, but I think it's a great idea." He reveals he's attracted to the idea of "the alter ego" describing the movie as an "interesting psychological study."
But Lee says that's not what interests him. "The comic strip is a franchise itself, so there's no need for a big movie." But he does admit the opportunity of directing a big film like this would allow him to feel he had "total creative freedom."
Meanwhile Lee has one or two other ideas brewing, including a possible 'Crouching Tiger' prequel, based on Yun-Fat Chow (Li Mu Bai) and Michelle Yeoh (Shu Lien) characters
