Jennifer Connelly Is Hulk's Betty


Jennifer Connelly('Requiem For A Dream') is to play Betty Ross the main female lead character in Ang Lee's 'The Hulk,' reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Eric Bana('Chopper') has already been confirmed for the role of Dr Bruce Banner and the Hulk.

The movie is to be set in Berkeley, California, and will include the misunderstood Hulk being pursued by the military while attempting to ward off threatening evil forces.

Other sub-plots include a love story between Banner and his female colleague, Betty Ross, who is the daughter of General Ross, a man in charge of the military base where scientific developments occur.

Filming is due to begin March next year and the movie is due to be released in 2003.
