New Line Cinema is to make the romantic comedy It's Not Unusual by veteran television writer-producer Jeff Franklin for mid-six figures, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Described as an offbeat and poignant coming-of-age romantic comedy, 'Unusual' is set in 1969 and centers on a high school boy who falls madly in love with his beautiful housekeeper.
