Ang Lee To Help Bond

Ananova report that Pierce Brosnan wants Ang Lee ('Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon') to help Michael Apted ('The World Is Not Enough') direct the next James Bond film.

The only snag may be Lee's insistence on being given the final cut on his films. Brosnan said: "Final cut is a mighty thing to give up, so Barbara and Michael and myself have work to be done."

The movie is due to start shooting later this year, with producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson again in charge.
