Sophie Ellis-Bextor Next Bond Girl?

According to the Herald Sun, popstar/model Sophie Ellis-Bextor looks like the frontrunner to land the role of the bond girl role for the next bond movie, currently known simply as 'Bond 20'.Although others are auditioning for the part, Ellis-Bextor seems to be the prime favorite for the creators.
Others also in the running are reportedly Salma Hayek and Saffron Burrows. The three women are said to have partaken in mock scenes with 007, which would have helped the producers come to a decision.
An official announcement is expected soon - but don't be suprised if Sophie Ellis Baxtor is our new Bond girl.
