Wesley Snipes To Star In 'John Doe'
[Thursday, December 5th, 2002]Wesley Snipes is set to star in the sci-fi actioner "John Doe," reports Variety.
The movie revolves around a man who suffers from severe memory loss. As he puts his life back together, he discovers that he also possesses superhuman capabilities that he can't explain. During a quest to uncover his true identity, Doe must elude a relentless assassin who knows his secret and is determined to keep it hidden by any means necessary.
"John Doe" scribe Zak Penn ("X-Men 2") will make his directorial debut on the big-budget project.
"John Doe's" title is likely to change, considering that Fox is airing a TV series called "John Doe," about a crime-solving man who knows everything in the world except who he is.
Revolution is aiming to ready "John Doe" for a 2004 release, with shooting scheduled for sometime next year.
