Brendan Fraser Joins 'Center Of The Earth'
[Friday, April 21st, 2006]Brendan Fraser is set to star in New Line Cinema and Walden Media's Journey to the Center of the Earth, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The feature, helmed by Eric Brevig, will be a contemporary update in 3-D of the Jules Verne classic.
The story revolves around a scientist who is stuck with his nephew as they embark on a trip to Iceland to check on a volcanic sensor. During a storm, they get trapped in a cave, and the only way out is through the center of Earth.
The project will begin shooting June 10th in Montreal.
