Hugh Dancy On 'King Arthur' Galahad Role

Hugh Dancy, playing Galahad in Jerry Bruckheimer's King Arthur, says that he is confident about his role in the movie. "I was working with a blank canvas," Dancy told Sci-Fi Wire. "I will be the definitive Galahad for years to come."

Dancy says he's avoided the stereotypical Arthur's knight. "There was no element of charm in my performance at all."

Talking about the epic battles he said, "They recreated kilometers' worth of Hadrian's Wall, and pretty much that entire space was taken up by Saxons, knights, you name it."

"The armor was very heavy, but it's so brilliantly made that it's like wearing a suit that's been tailored for you," he said. "It's incredible how they do it."
