Adrien Brody In 'King Kong' Talks

Adrien Brody is in talks with Universal Pictures to join the cast of director Peter Jackson's King Kong remake, according to Variety.

Brody is said to have been offered the role of Jack Driscoll, a former World War I fighter pilot who is the love interest for archaeologist Ann Darrow, to be played by Naomi Watts.

In the original, Driscroll tries to rescue Ann Darrow after the ape falls in love with her. The role of Driscoll will be the final major casting for the movie.

'Kong' will go into production this summer in New Zealand, for a December 14th, 2005 release.
