Wellspring Take On 'Kings And Queen'
[Thursday, September 30th, 2004]Wellspring have bought the U.S. rights to director Arnaud Desplechin's Kings and Queen, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The movie, starring Mathieu Almaric, Emmanuelle Devos and Catherine Deneuve, tells the parallel stories of two ex-lovers: Nora, a single mother suddenly faced with the care of her terminally ill father, and Ismael, a brilliant musician trying desperately -- in high comic fashion -- to escape from a mental hospital.
