Diane Keaton Set To Join 'Mad Money'
[Tuesday, April 13th, 2004]Diane Keaton is to star in MGM's Mad Money, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The project, helmed by Callie Khouri, is a remake of the British comedy 'Hot Money' and is described as a low-tech, female version of Ocean's Eleven. It is narrated through the eyes of Keaton's character, one of three female janitors who rob the Federal Reserve.
The original British telepic was based on the true story of three cleaners who were determined to get more money from the British Treasury than their night shift afforded them, but the new version will be transported to contemporary America.
