Weinstein's Take On 'Miss Potter' Biopic

The Weinstein Co. have bought the North American rights to Phoenix Pictures Beatrix Potter biopic Miss Potter, says Variety.The feature stars Renee Zellweger, Ewan McGregor and Emily Watson. The movie will explore the life of Potter, author of beloved children's book 'The Tale of Peter Rabbit', among others. It will also follow her struggle to overcome a domineering, unsupportive mother and the chauvinism of Victorian England.
The project, helmed by Chris Noonan, is currently in production in the U.K.
