Monsters Inc. Re-released With Outtakes

A new version of the animated hit 'Monsters Inc.' is being re-released, just five weeks after its debut at the box office.

The re-release will include some specially-created outtakes from the movie, that are to run over the credits of the movie, this is following in the tradition of Pixars releases such as 'Toy Story' and 'A Bug's Life.'

Walt Disney chairman Richard Cook said they wanted to give something back to the public who had already seen the movie.

"Audiences have responded to Monsters, Inc and made it one of the biggest hits of the year," said Cook.

"We thought it would be fun to give them something extra.

"Director Pete Docter, executive producer John Lasseter, and the rest of the gang have put the Monsters characters into some really hilarious situations.

"They provide another great reason to see this hit movie again."

Lasseter, chief of Pixar, said: "We pioneered animated outtakes with A Bug's Life and Toy Story 2, and with Monsters, Inc we couldn't resist doing them again.

"They're as much fun to create as they are to watch."

Monsters Inc. will get its bonus footage added on this weekend, 7th December.

You will be able to download a sneak preview of the "outtakes" beginning Friday at The Official Monsters Inc website
