Spielberg's Olympic Film Named 'Munich'
[Monday, July 25th, 2005]Steven Spielberg's next film has finally been named "Munich", according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The thriller centers on the aftermath of the killings of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympics in Munich. Eric Bana stars as a Mossad agent who leads a secret Israeli squad assigned to assassinate 11 Palestinians suspected of planning the killings.
The feature, with co-stars Geoffrey Rush, Daniel Craig and Mathieu Kassovitz, is slated for a December 23rd release.
