Effects Rush For 'The Mummy Returns'

MovieHeadlines received word that ILM, who produce movie effects, maybe scrambling to get the shots completed for 'The Mummy Returns in time for its May 4th release.

Their spy reports that 50 shots need to be completed by Easter, which is only five days away.

"Everything is kind of frantic right now, and since the director has continued to add more and more shots and more complexity to existing shots, it has fallen into crunch time.

The Mummy Returns contains a lot of shots that may surprise you are final shots in the movie. Just when ILM is churning out it's best work it also is doing some hurry up work as well. Then again, the work on the first Mummy film was horribly uneven, maybe that adds to the whole serial charm."
