Shawn Levy To Direct 'A Night At The Museum'

Shawn Levy is set to direct 20th Century Fox' A Night at the Museum, says the Hollywood Reporter.

The feature is a family comedy that centers on a goodhearted but bumbling security guard at the Museum of Natural History who accidentally trips an ancient curse that causes the animals and insects on display to come to life.

Stephen Sommers was previously attached to the project, but left to helm Paramount Pictures' sci-fi thriller When Worlds Collide.
