Jacqueline Obradors Joins Snipes In 'Nine Lives'

Jacqueline Obradors has been cast as the lead female role opposite Wesley Snipes in Nine Lives, says Hollywood Reporter. Shooting is scheduled to start April 13 in Bulgaria with David Carson at the helm.

'Nine Lives' is described as a cross between 'Jacob's Ladder' and 'The Bourne Identity' and centers on a former Army Special Ops soldier (Snipes) who is mistaken for a government agent and gets injected with a hallucinogenic mind-control drug that allows others to alter his reality with simple suggestions. Finding himself on the run, he must search for the antidote while battling his foes, his inner demons and the illusions the drug allows his enemies to create.

Obradors will play a police detective and wife of Snipes' character. Her other credits include the indie film 'Tortilla Soup' and the TV series 'NYPD Blue'.
