Pictures From Pearl Harbor

We've got some more pictures from the Touchstone Pictures movie 'Pearl Harbour'. The $135 million film directed by Michael Bay had finished production on September 25, 2000, and has recently finished post-production. Heres a still from the movie with all CGI completed.



"The special effects are breathtaking," said a production crew member. "You've never seen anything like it. We're re-fighting the war for real!"

Starring in the movie is Ben Affleck (on the right), Josh Harnett, Kate Beckensale(below), Cuba Gooding Jr. and Alec Baldwin.

The premise to the movie is about two best friends (Harnett and Affleck) are caught up in the events that draw the United States into World War II. One brother enlists in the U.S. Army Air Corps and the other flies for the Royal Air Force, but both become involved romantically with the same woman (Beckensale). Their relationships come to a ironic finale when the three find themselves in the middle of the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor.

The film is to be released in May, 2001, soon after a premiere at the Pearl Harbor naval base in Hawaii.
