Katie Cassidy Joins 'Revenge Of The Nerds'

Katie Cassidy is in final talks to star in the remake of Revenge of the Nerds according to Variety.Kyle Newman is directing the McG-produced remake of the classic 1984 comedy. Cassidy recently beat out Jessica Simpson and Lindsay Lohan for the role of Lucy Ewing in the redo of "Dallas" for Regency Enterprises and 20th Century Fox.
In "Nerds," she'll play Suzy Stone, head of the Pi Delta Pi sorority and queen of the campus. Adam Jay Epstein, Adam Goldberg and Andrew Jacobson penned the script.
