Eddie Izzard In Turturros 'Romance And Cigarettes'

Comedian/Actor Eddie Izzard has joined the cast of John Turturro's Romance and Cigarettes, according to Variety.

Izzard, who nabbed Emmy recognition in 2000 for his spec "Dress to Kill," last year made his Broadway bow and received a Tony nom for his role in the revival of "A Day in the Death of Joe Egg."

Turturro wrote and is at the helm of the musical feature which is to be produced by Joel and Ethan Coen.

The movie has also cast Susan Sarandon, James Gandolfini, Julia Stiles, Kate Winslet, Steve Buscemi, Mandy Moore, Aida Turturro, Mary-Louise Parker and Christopher Walken.

Romance and Cigarettes is shooting in New York currently.
