Chris Tucker Set To Rush Back For Sequel
[Thursday, June 26th, 2003]Chris Tucker is in negotiations in order to reprise his role in the sequel Rush Hour 3, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Brett Ratner who previously made the other two is set to direct. Tucker is said to be getting an estimated eight figure paycheck for it. Jackie Chan has not said if he is going to reprise his role.
As Ratner was supposed to be making Superman, which fell through, he is said to be eager to get back to work. But a release date is still not sure, as it might be ready for 2004 or 2005. This depends on if Ratner decides to make the Get Shorty sequel 'Be Cool', which John Travolta has begun negotiating to come aboard.
