Simon Baker Joins 'The Ring 2' Cast

Simon Baker (L.A. Confidential) has been cast for Dreamworks The Ring 2 for director Hideo Nakata, says The Hollywood Reporter. Baker will play the male lead opposite Naomi Watts in the ongoing tale of a mysterious videotape that proves fatal to viewers.
Baker and Watts, who are said to be have been friends for years, will work together on-screen for the first time. Shooting starts in mid-May on the sequel.
