Intermedia Take On 'Shelter' Thriller
[Friday, June 4th, 2004]Intermedia are to make the psychological thriller Shelter, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The project, written by 'Identity' scribe Michael Cooney, follows a female forensic psychiatrist who specializes in debunking multiple personality disorder. When she discovers that her latest patient's various personalities are all murder victims, she struggles to find a logical explanation for the man's delusion.
"Michael Cooney has a gift for writing frightening thrillers with wicked twists and great characters," said Intermedia's Scott Kroopf. "'Shelter' has a tremendous sense of growing suspense that alternates between being nerve-racking and downright scary."
