Michael Pena Joins Mark Wahlberg In 'Shooter'

Michael Pena has signed on to star opposite Mark Wahlberg in the political thriller Shooter, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Director Antoine Fuqua is prepping the film, which is scheduled to begin shooting June 19 in Vancouver. Written by Jonathan Lemkin, Shooter centers on an ace marksman (Wahlberg) who is double-crossed and framed for a presidential assassination he was trying to prevent.
