Superhero School Is Opening In 'Sky High'

Michael Angarano (Almost Famous) is to star in Sky High, said to be a superhero teen comedy movie that Mike Mitchell (Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo) is directing for Walt Disney, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sky High centers on a high school for superpowered teens in a world where superheroes are an everyday occurrence. The story follows Jeremy, the son of superheroes Commander Stronghold and Jetstream, and his trials and tribulations of being a regular teenager and a possible future hero.

Shooting begins on Aug. 20 in Los Angeles.
