Sarah Jessica Parker Is In 'Smart People'

Sarah Jessica Parker will star opposite Dennis Quaid in the comedy Smart People, according to Variety.Thomas Haden Church co-stars; Ellen Page ("Hard Candy") and Ashton Holmes ("A History of Violence") also have been set.
Parker replaces Rachel Weisz in the role of a doctor who falls for a professor whose wife's death has turned him into a bitter man.
Noam Murro is directing with shooting beginning Nov. 6.
