Stiller And Wilson To Make 'Starsky & Hutch'

Owen Wilson will join Ben Stiller in "Starsky & Hutch," an action comedy greenlit by Warner Bros. for a February start, reports Variety.

Todd Phillips, who wrote the last draft of the script with Scott Armstrong, will direct.

The film takes its inspiration from the ABC series with Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky) and David Soul (Hutch), which bowed in 1975. They played hip, streetwise cops with a well-drawn relationship often credited for the show's four-year run. The drama was squarely set in the '70s, but the feature will be updated and will focus on the formation of the duo's partnership.

Stiller is playing Starsky and Wilson will play Hutch.

The two have worked together several times, including on pics "The Royal Tenenbaums," "Zoolander" and "Meet the Parents."
