Rick Berman Talks 'Trek X'

The story for the next Star Trek film, currently known as 'Trek X', will be written by John Logan and actor Brent Spiner (Data), according to Entertainment News Daily.

Logan, who co-wrote the screenplay for the Oscar-nominated, 'Gladiator', recently submitted a second draft for the next feature, and filming should begin several months after the assumed actors and writers strike.

Berman reveals some details from the movie, "All I can tell you now about the plot is that it will deal with a supreme and hopefully memorable villain," "There's some cloning involved, and there are also a lot of Romulans involved. But I will say no more."
