George Lucas Describes Episode III Premise

TheForce.net report that a documentary on Episode III's George Lucas will be shown as part of the Encore's Directors Series (April 3rd at 7pm ET/PT). The following, including an Episode III description (in bold), is from this weeks Entertainment Weekly.

Francis Ford Coppola, Carrie Fisher, and just about every living actor from American Graffitti turn out to pay tribute to Lord Lucas, but the best news out of this retrospective comes from the director himself, talking about his vision for the upcoming Episode III. "It's a darker version of Star Wars," says Lucas. "It's not as dark as a Quentin Tarantino movie, but at the same time, for Star Wars it will be pretty dark." Meesa freakin' hope so.
