Maggie Gyllenhaal Joins 'Stranger Than Fiction'

Maggie Gyllenhaal has signed on to star opposite Will Ferrell in Mandate Pictures comedy Stranger Than Fiction, says Variety.The feature, helmed by Marc Forster, sees Ferrell play an IRS auditor who finds himself the subject of narration that only he can hear. The voiceover begins to deeply affect everything from his work to his love life.
Shooting for the project begins in April.
