Monaghan Joins Ensemble Cast In 'Syriana'

Michelle Monaghan is to join the ensemble cast in Stephen Gaghan's Syriana for Warner Bros, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Monaghan joins George Clooney, Matt Damon, Amanda Peet and Max Minghella in the project, described as a geopolitical thriller tackling oil, international politics and the CIA inspired by CIA agent Robert Baer's memoirs, "See No Evil: The True Story of a Foot Soldier in the CIA's War on Terrorism."

Monaghan played the female lead in Shane Black's Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang opposite Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer,
