Facinelli To Star As Villain In Scorpion King

[Tuesday, March 27th, 2001]

Peter Facinelli star of 'The Big Kahuna' is to star as the villian in 'The Scorpion King', prequel to the 'Mummy' movies, reports Hollywood Reporter.

Facinelli will play Takmet, the evil son of the Warlord. The Scorpion King, WWF star The Rock, defeats the Warlord and becomes the first Pharoah of Egypt. Facinelli is to join Micheal Clarke Duncan(Balthezar) and Kelly Hu (Cassandra).

The movie is to start shooting this Wednesday in Los Angeles and will hit the cinemas this May.
