Peter Sarsgaard To Star In 'Skeleton Key'

Best supporting actor Golden Globe nominee Peter Sarsgaard is in final negotiations to star in a lead role opposite Kate Hudson in The Skeleton Key for Universal Pictures, according to The Hollywood Reporter

Penned by Ehren Kruger, the New Orleans-set story follows a young woman (Hudson) who begins to experience spooky things in the home of the elderly couple for whom she's caring. Sarsgaard plays the love interest of Hudson's character.

Shooting is scheduled to start in April with Iain Softley at the helm.
