Antonio Banderas Set To 'Take The Lead'

Antonio Banderas is set to play a professional dancer in New Line Cinema's Take the Lead, says the Hollywood Reporter.The feature, helmed by Liz Friedlander, is inspired by the true story of international ballroom dancer Pierre Dulane, and follows a man (Banderas) who volunteers to teach dance in the New York public school system.
When his ballroom methods clash with his students' hip-hop instincts, he teams up with them to create a new style of dance and becomes their mentor in the process.
