John Polson To Direct Cormiers 'Tenderness'

John Polson has signed on to direct writer Emil Stern's adaptation of Robert Cormier's teen serial killer novel Tenderness, according to the Hollywood Reporter.The book, from best-selling author Cormier ("The Chocolate War"), tells of a teen runaway who becomes entangled with a charming serial killer around her own age.
Principal production is scheduled for early 2006.
