Diane Lane Set To Star In Romantic Comedy

Diane Lane is negotiating to star in the romantic comedy "Under the Tuscan Sun," reports The Hollywood Reporter

Based on Frances Mayes' memoir of the same name, the project is about an American woman who takes a trip to Italy in search of a more satisfying life. While there, she buys a villa in the Tuscan countryside and decides to begin anew. Restoring her new home, the woman eventually finds the fulfillment she was searching for, including love.

Writer-director Audrey Wells ("Guinevere") is helming the project, which will shoot in September in the Tuscany region of Italy.
