'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' Prequel Coming
[Wednesday, July 21st, 2004]Michael Bay is to make a prequel to their remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, according to Variety.
After staving off a Dimension bid for the project that wound up costing New Line an extra $3 million to keep the franchise in its fold, the studio has set writer Sheldon Turner (The Longest Yard) to write the script.
The drama revolves around a group of sibling soldiers who cross paths with chainsaw-wielding lead character.
